Delete Prefect Myth

Many optimization guides have claimed that deleting the files within the prefect folder or modifying prefect will make your computer run faster.

When you launch a program a series of page faults occur as the program requires data from the hard drive. When a page fault occurs, Windows pauses the program’s execution and loads the resource into memory. Once the resource is loaded, Windows resumes the program’s execution. This is a very time consuming process.
