The Windows registry contains nearly every setting that controls how your computer function. Some of these settings can be easily modified through a dialog box, where others can only be modifyed directry throught the registry (not recommented). The following tools provide easy access to many hard to get to security settings, account settings, display settings and preferences.

I've listed a few, noteworthy settings that you can change with these programs. Read the description first and make sure you understand what that setting will do before you modify it.
